Brian Smith & I needed an opening and closing segment for the 2002
volunteer appreciation video piece. We used no one behind the camera,
just setting it up on a static tripod.  Since we didn't have any idea what
exactly to do, we ended up doing essentially nothing, the result was this.
ALDERWOOD RIVERDANCE ADVERTISEMENT

What became an instant classic, the "Dance of the Pastors"  
which was the opener for the 2004 volunteer appreciation dinner
wowed the crowd.  The footage was repackaged the following
year to advertise the 2005 volunteers event, as shown here.
THE UPPER ROOM 10TH ANNIVERSARY OPENING VIDEO
During the run of the Upper Room 1996-2007, we used various
media elements to enhance the experience in this former
Children's Ministries program. The opening video had
changed and transformed over the years, this was the last
version of it, used during the '06-'07 season. The kids enjoyed
the high speed roller coaster trip through the whole church. I
provided the voices at the beginning. Introductions and
announcements were made during the final minutes of the
video.
2003 ACC Golden Globes

As part of the Volunteer Appreciation event for 2003,  the staff served up
Golden Globe awards recognizing each ministry area.   The clips were shown
as a lead in to each award presentation.   Originally a sound track wasn't part
of the video but is now included .
PASTOR BILL DOES THE BOB EVANS
RESTAURANT RAP

Pastor Bill Montgomery revealed to the kids at the
2008 Junior Retreat another of his many talents.   
As rapper MC Bill, he his home state of Ohio. And
since he really missed his favorite dish there, he
packed up the family and headed back there.  
We'll miss you at Alderwood!
